On September 14, 2016 Ji Soo’s agency Parin TPC revealed that Ji Soo received surgery for acute osteomyelitis (inflammation of bone or bone marrow, usually due to infection) on September 13, and that the surgery went well. He was recently suffering from leg pain with an unknown cause, so he went to the hospital the week before his surgery and received many examinations and treatments but there wasn’t any improvement so he got a diagnostic work-up on the 12th and the doctor said it might be bone cancer. Even before the results came out he experienced severe pain and had a high fever, his fever rose close to 40 degrees Celsius, so he was admitted to a hospital and the hospital staff hurriedly did a body scan and confirmed that it was acute osteomyelitis thankfully and not cancer upon checking the MRI.He got into surgery at 4 p.m. and it ended at 9 p.m. (Source)

I loved your character in Angry Mom, as young as you are your portrayal was terrific. That was the 1st time I’ve ever seen you in a drama and I was immediately taken in by your character as Go Bok Dong. Keep up the wonderful acting skills. I think you’re GREAT.

Ji Soo was a scene stealer in Angry Mom. His character, Go Bok Dong, went from bully to friend to protector! You just want to hug him! It was great acting for an actor with so few TV drama roles before Angry Mom. Can’t wait for his future dramas and movies. He will do just fine!

I watched sassy go go because i am a fan of jung eunji. Watching korean drama needs a lot of time and i can’t afford the luxurious of it. So i choose the drama with the great actors. I found you in sassy go go. You’re so talented and i don’t even notice that you’re a rookie. When finish watching this drama i’ll try to find the time to watch angry mom. First of all, there are several young men that I follow on K-dramas, hoping that they do well, get roles from bit parts to leads, and succeed. Since I only have sons, I guess I’m drawn to the male characters/actors. Mostly, I think of them as my grandsons and wish I could complement them in person. I brag to some of my sons about these young men and they think it’s funny. Ji Soo is one actor I’ve followed for a while and wish him all the best…
