Jung Ryeo Won is a is a Korean-Australian actress under H& Entertainment. Jung Ryeo Won was born in Seoul but emigrated to Australia in 1992 with her family. She has Australian citizenship. She encountered discrimination which made her determined to become fluent in English. By junior high school, she had adapted to the Australian way of life. After matriculating from MacGregor State High School, she graduated from Griffith University with a major in international business. While she was an exchange student at Korea University from Griffith University in the 2000s, Jung was discovered on the streets of Apgujeong by Lee Sang Min, thereby changing her life and career path.

Jung Ryeo Won debuted as a singer in the girl group Chakra. After the group disbanded in 2006, Jung Ryeo Won focused on acting full time. She gained widespread fame in the 2005 television drama “My Name Is Kim Sam Soon” and went on to star in “History of a Salaryman” (2012), “King of Dramas” (2012), “Medical Top Team” (2013) and “Bubblegum” (2015). Jung Ryeo Won published the book titled Ryeowon’s Sketchbook in 2007 and began hosting the reality show “Art Star Korea” in 2014.
