Lee Je Hoon

Lee Je Hoon is a South Korean actor who started his career in indie films. Since then, he has also appeared in many commercial films and television series.

Lee made his acting debut in 2007 with the short movie “They Live by Night.” However, his breakthrough wasn’t until his appearance in the 2011 indie film “Bleak Night,” which gained him widespread fame.

Lee was majoring in biotechnology at the Korea University, but he dropped out after realizing that he wanted to focus in acting instead. After that, he transferred to the School of Drama at Korea National University of Arts.

He won the best new actor award at the 48th Daejong Film Awards for the films “The Front Line” and “Bleak Night” and earned a nomination for Best Actor at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards for “Time to Hunt.”

He also played the role of a taxi driver in the 2021 drama “Taxi Driver,” which season finale scored the fourth-highest rating of all Friday-Saturday dramas in the history of SBS.

Lee enlisted for his mandatory military service on October 25, 2012. He was discharged on July 24, 2014, after serving as a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency riot police.
