Yoo Ji In

Yoo Ji In, born as Lee Yoon Hee, is a South Korean actress, born in Seoul, South Korea. She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Theatre and Film from Chung-Ang University.
She started her acting career in 1974 when she was a freshman in the Department of Theatre and Film at Chung-Ang University. She continued to appear in one to three films each year until 1977, and she was also a talent on TBC TV. In 1978, she together with Jang Mi Hee and Jung Yun Hee formed a so-called ‘Neo-Troika’, and she become one of the most popular stars.
Although she first made her film debut, it was through her television that she rose to stardom, and her full-fledged career as an actress began when she appeared in six films 1978. She won the Grand Bell Award for Best Actress for "Simbo" (1979), and had the best year as a movie actor.

Entering the 1980s, her film appearances continued, but compared to the number of her appearances, her cases of box office success declined sharply compared to the previous year. Although she appeared in more than 10 works in 1980, her film appearances decreased remarkably from 1981, probably because she did not achieve much at the box office. Her stardom seems to be almost exhausted by 1983, as did other Troika stars. After appearing in several TV dramas, she virtually stopped acting after getting married in the mid-80s.
